Course Objectives To be able to use animation hardware and software and develop a concept for a project. Analyze motion and character. To demonstrate originality and creativity. To develop and complete a short digital animation project.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Be able to determine major phases of animation production.
  • Have mastered digital animation techniques.
  • Be familiarized with graphic animation hardware and software
  • Be able to use them for visual storytelling
  • Design a computer animation project
  • Serve as project team leader
Course Description This course introduces basics of computer animation. Students will develop a concept for a digital animation project and then, utilizing the software Adobe After Effects, go through stages of computer animation production. There will be tutorials and class critique sessions.
